Overview of positionCTG is seeking a highly skilled Network, Voice & Security Technician to support and maintain enterprise network infrastructure, Cisco Unified Communications (CUCM) environments, and Check Point security platforms. The successful candidate will ensure the availability, performance, and security of voice, video, and data communication services while providing advanced technical support to users and remote sites.
Key Responsibilities
Administer and support LAN/WAN, Wi-Fi, routing, switching, and Internet connectivity.
Manage and troubleshoot Cisco Unified Communications Manager (CUCM), IP Telephony, SIP trunks, voice gateways, Cisco Unity Connection, and collaboration platforms.
Administer Check Point firewalls, VPNs, access control policies, and threat prevention solutions.
Monitor network, voice, and security infrastructure to ensure service availability and performance.
Provide advanced troubleshooting for network, VoIP, and security incidents.
Support telecommunications systems, including WAN and remote site connectivity.
Maintain technical documentation, network diagrams, and operational procedures.
Provide end-user support and technical guidance on ICT services.
Perform any other tasks requested by the supervisor.

Key competenciesQualifications & Experience
Education
Bachelor's Degree or Technical Diploma in Information Technology, Telecommunications, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
Work Experience
Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in network administration, VoIP/Unified Communications, and cybersecurity.
Proven hands-on experience with:
Cisco Routing & Switching
Cisco CUCM and IP Telephony
SIP, VoIP, and voice gateways
Check Point Firewall Administration
VPN and network security technologies
Experience in international organizations, humanitarian operations, or remote environments is desirable.
Preferred Certifications
CCNA or CCNP Enterprise
CCNP Collaboration (preferred)
Check Point CCSA and/or CCSE
CompTIA Security+ or equivalent
Competencies
Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
Ability to work independently under pressure.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Strong commitment to cybersecurity and operational excellence.
