Description

At the International Finance Corporation (IFC), a member of the World Bank Group (WBG), you’ll join a diverse, global community working across cultures, disciplines, and borders to address the world’s most pressing development challenges. With 1.2 billion young people reaching working age in the decade ahead, the challenge of job creation has never been greater. Through partnerships across 145 countries and more than 182 offices worldwide, we work with governments, private sector, development partners and other stakeholders to invest in people, strengthen markets, and deliver scalable, data-driven solutions that generate more and better jobs and improve lives. In fiscal year 2026, IFC committed a record $105.6 billion to private companies and financial institutions in developing countries. For more information, visit www.ifc.org.
IFC’s originate-to-distribute and capital mobilization initiatives—including securitization, the Managed Co Lending Portfolio Program (“MCPP”), B Loan syndications, parallel loans, private equity funds and anchor bond investing, thematic bond issuances, and other structured mobilization vehicles—have expanded substantially in recent years, reflecting IFC’s strong focus on originating assets that both meet World Bank Group’s development mandate and are consistent with the investment preferences of institutional investors.
The Syndicated Loans and Mobilization Department (“CSL”) is at the forefront of mobilizing private capital and credit insurance capacity for IFC clients from banks through the B Loan program, parallel lenders, and through MCPP from institutional investors and credit insurance companies. The Department’s Co-Investor Solutions division (“CSLCU”) is responsible for developing innovative products, platforms and other solutions to attract private capital into emerging markets, including IFC’s initiative to warehouse and securitize assets that it originates. It is further responsible for mobilizing third-party capital through the suite of syndication products as well as attracting non-traditional syndication partners, including institutional investors, to support the growth of IFC’s loan business. The Department also manages the ongoing syndicated portfolio engagements with B Loan participants, parallel lenders, MCPP investors and global credit insurance companies.
CSLCU is currently seeking an Extended Term Consultant (ETC) for its Global Portfolio and Analytics (“GPA”) team based in Washington, D.C. The ETC will report to the Head of GPA.
