The MFO is seeking an experienced and strategic human resources leader to serve as Chief of Personnel Support (CPS) in Sinai, Egypt.

As the senior Human Resources official within the Force, the CPS leads the Force Personnel Branch and serves as the principal advisor to Force leadership on all personnel matters. Working in close partnership with the Director of Human Resources, the CPS is responsible for advancing the MFO's people strategy, including workforce planning, talent management, succession planning, employee engagement, organizational effectiveness, wellbeing, and workplace culture.

The CPS exercises command responsibility for approximately 120 International Direct Hire Civilians and 35 Local Contract Hire Civilians and provides leadership, direction, and oversight for all personnel support functions across the Force. The position establishes priorities, standards, and strategic objectives that support operational readiness and organizational effectiveness.

Qualifications

Candidates must possess:

  • A Master's degree, or equivalent, in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, Public Administration, Organizational Development, or a related field.
  • At least 12 years of progressively responsible HR experience, including a minimum of five years in a senior leadership or head-of-function role managing HR teams.
  • Demonstrated expertise in HR policy development and implementation, governance, compliance, organizational design, workforce planning, position management, and complex employee relations matters.
  • Experience managing budgets, contracted workforces, outsourced services, and performance-based service delivery arrangements.
  • Proven ability to translate organizational priorities into effective people strategies, programs, and measurable outcomes.
  • Strong leadership capabilities, including leading multidisciplinary teams, driving organizational change, developing talent, and fostering continuous improvement.
  • A senior HR professional certification or chartered membership, such as FCIPD, Chartered MCIPD, SHRM-SCP, or SPHR, is highly desirable.


The following experience is strongly preferred:

  • Previous service in the Middle East region.
  • Military staff officer experience at the field-grade level or equivalent experience supporting military or multinational organizations.

This position is based in Sharm El Sheikh, Egypt, within a unique multinational environment composed of military and civilian personnel representing approximately 20 nations. 

The MFO offers a renewable two-year accompanied-status contract that includes:

This is a Grade 12 position with a total annual salary of USD 154,000.
