The MFO is seeking a qualified and motivated professional to serve as Force Legal Assistant. Reporting to the Force Counsel for Legal and Treaty Affairs, the incumbent will provide legal and administrative support on a wide range of matters, including:
- Interpretation and application of the Treaty of Peace;
- Alleged violations of MFO policies and guidance;
- MFO members' violations of host-country laws;
- Personnel and employment-related matters;
- Potential or threatened claims involving the MFO; and
- Administrative and legal investigations.
QUALIFICATIONS
The successful candidate will possess:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Law or a related legal field;
- At least two years of professional experience as a paralegal or legal assistant; and
- Excellent written and spoken English, including proficiency in legal terminology.
Previous experience in an international and/or military environment is highly desirable.
This position is based in Sharm El Sheikh, Egypt, within a unique multinational environment composed of military and civilian personnel representing approximately 20 nations. The MFO offers a renewable two-year unaccompanied-status contract that includes:

This is a Grade 8 position with a total annual salary of USD 82,400.
