The incumbent will plan and implement initiatives to strengthen SRHR services, particularly Family Planning (FP), Menstrual Regulation (MR), Post-Abortion Care (PAC), and the management of GBV survivors in urban health facilities, especially urban clinics previously operated under UPHCSDP and now transferring under MOH&FW, as well as among private practitioners in DSCC and DNCC. The Technical Coordinator will facilitate capacity-building initiatives through training, mentoring, and onsite support for service providers, and will undertake initiatives to improve facility readiness and quality of care through mentoring, monitoring, and health systems strengthening support. S/he will support compliance with relevant SOPs, proper utilization of equipment and commodities, and strengthening of record-keeping and reporting systems. The role also requires maintaining effective coordination within teams and with government and non-government stakeholders at the local level to enhance the visibility of the organization’s SRHR initiatives. Additionally, s/he will provide technical inputs for event and activity reports in consultation with the Project Manager/focal person and the HS teams.
  • Support the development and implementation of annual, quarterly, and project-specific research, monitoring, and evaluation (RM&E) work plans in alignment with program objectives and organizational priorities.
  • Contribute to designing and conducting research studies, surveys, assessments, and evaluations, including protocol development, ethical approval, field implementation, data analysis, and documentation of findings.
  • Support the development and implementation of routine monitoring systems, including indicators, data collection tools, and reporting mechanisms, in coordination with program teams and implementing partners.
  • Support the responsible use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and digital tools for data processing, quality assurance, analysis, visualization, and reporting to enhance RM&E efficiency and effectiveness, ensuring data confidentiality, ethical use, and verification of AI-generated outputs.
  • Coordinate and monitor field-level RM&E activities, including data collection, field visits, and engagement with implementing partners and external consultants, to ensure timely and quality implementation.
  • Maintain RM&E databases and information management systems, ensuring accurate, complete, timely, and secure data collection, storage, and retrieval.
  • Conduct routine data quality assessments, identify discrepancies, and support corrective actions in accordance with Ipas global RM&E standards and guidelines.
  • Compile, analyze, and interpret quantitative and qualitative data to track program performance, identify trends and gaps, and generate actionable insights.
  • Prepare periodic RM&E reports, dashboards, presentations, and analytical summaries, and provide data and evidence-based inputs for donor reports, technical documents, and communication materials.
  • Facilitate the documentation, dissemination, and utilization of research and monitoring findings, lessons learned, and good practices to inform program improvement, organizational learning, and evidence-based decision-making.
  • Provide technical support and capacity strengthening to program staff and implementing partners on RM&E tools, data management, reporting, and quality assurance.
  • Maintain effective coordination with Ipas global teams, country teams, implementing partners, and relevant stakeholders to facilitate RM&E implementation and knowledge sharing.
  • Ensure adherence to applicable research ethics, institutional requirements, donor regulations, national guidelines, and Ipas policies in all assigned RM&E activities.
  •  Perform other relevant duties as assigned by the supervisor or management to support organizational objectives.
