The position will provide operational, governance, portfolio, and project coordination support to the ITSCB management team and, as required, to broader ITSCO stakeholders. Duties and accountabilities:
Operational and Workforce Coordination
• Coordinate selected operational processes for the Chennai-based ITSCO and ITSCB workforce, including onboarding, offboarding, access and equipment follow-up, orientation logistics, staff and contractor records, and related status tracking.
• Support contractor and consultant administration by coordinating requests, documentation, extensions, purchase-order or invoice follow-up, and issue resolutions with the appropriate corporate teams.
Portfolio and Value Management
• Maintain an integrated view of ITSCB initiatives, products, projects, quarterly deliverables, milestones, dependencies, risks, decisions, and management actions.
Project and Program Governance
• Coordinate governance calendars, review cycles, project checkpoints, steering or working-group materials, and follow-up actions across assigned initiatives.
• Maintain action, decision, risk, issue, dependency, and milestone logs; ensure owners and target dates are recorded and periodically refreshed.
Azure DevOps and Management Information
• Support the maintenance and quality of Azure DevOps boards and portfolio dashboards, including work-item completeness, ownership, dates, status, links, and traceability to agreed deliverables.
• Process Improvement and Communication
• Document current processes, identify recurring coordination bottlenecks, and propose pragmatic improvements, automation opportunities, controls, or reusable templates.
Selection Criteria
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree with 2 years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience (for example, in the IT field: Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of 1 year of related work experience).
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Teams, SharePoint, and related collaboration tools.
• Ability to maintain effective controls over records, deadlines, follow-ups, and confidential information while managing multiple priorities.
• Excellent written and oral communication in English, with the ability to tailor content for technical teams, business stakeholders, managers, and senior audiences.
• Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, practical judgment, and a continuous-improvement mindset.
• Ability to work independently within defined objectives, seek clarification when needed, and collaborate effectively without relying on formal authority.
• Knowledge of project and program coordination practices, including planning, milestones, risks, issues, dependencies, actions, decisions, status reporting, and governance routines.
• Working knowledge of value management concepts, including outcome definition, benefits or value hypotheses, prioritization, measures, evidence, and value realization tracking.
