The Norwegian Refugee Council has approximately 5000 committed and competent employees involved in projects across four continents. In addition, NRC runs one of the world’s largest standby rosters -NORCAP, with 650 professionals, ready to be deployed on 72 hours notice when a crisis occurs

NRC's organizational Development department is seeking a new HR Coordinator to join our HR Unit.
Main responsibilities
- Day-to-day support to staff and managers at Head Office (HO) on HR related questions

Issue contracts to and registration of Head Office (HO) staff and consultants
-
Follow up contract end dates for HO staff
-
Prepare all contract information to payroll HO
-
Provide sufficient training for managers and staff at HO within personell administration and terms of employment at HO
-
Manage, maintain and develop the time registration system for HO staff
-
Manage and update the HR Manual for HO
-
Health, enviroment and security (HES) focal point for HO
-
Support HO HR with analysis and statistics
-
Contribute to development of HR framework and policies
-
Support the implementation of a new reward system for HO Staff
Qualifications
-
Relevant university degree
-
Minimum 3 years of relevant experience, within HR, administration, project management and personnel administration
-
Documented results related to the position’s responsibilities
-
Knowledge about the Norwegian labour system
-
Experience from working in complex and dynamic contexts
-
Fluent written and verbal communication skills in English
- Advanced knowledge of standard ICT office support tools and systems, experience with Agresso is an advantage
