Job description
- Provide full IT support for NRC Networks throughout Jalalabad Office and Guesthouse.
- Provide network solutions for NRC Jalalabad – domain organization, active Directory structure, remote control/support.
- Ongoing network implementation occasioned by opening/closing of Jalalabad Office.
- Analysis of problems, finding and delivering permanent solutions to problems, pro-actively troubleshooting and providing durable solutions.
- Ensures IT procedures & policy are followed in NRC Jalalabad Office.
- Provides IT support & help desk facility.
- Different software configuration and installation.
- Maintain IT equipment and software inventory on weekly bases.
- Handover of IT items; managing IT stock; taking the repairable IT items to workshop and filling damage IT item report.
- Back-up of data regularly/Monthly systems.
- Access points, Routers, Switches, Print servers trouble shooting & configurations
- Trouble shooting and protection the NRC network systems against Mal wares, ad wares, Malicious & virus’.
- Supervise installations performed by third parties such as cabling, Internet connection, etc.
- Implement and enforce security on the network and prevent misuse of the IT resources
- Set up and ensure reliable Internet connectivity
- Configure and install workstations, printers, client software etc.
- Make sure all ICT equipment are functional.
- Regular service and maintenance of ICT Accessories in quarterly.
- The IT Officer shall come over the weekends when and if required to troubleshoot IT problems.
- Monitoring the signal strength for the Office & guest houses internet connections.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s in IT, Computer Science or equivalent
- At least 3 years of experience from working in ICT field with humanitarian, INGO, UN agencies.
- MCSE, MSCA, CCNA, CompTIA, MCP will be plus point.
- Provide basic training to end users on both hardware and applicable software.
