Our Team

We are a passionate, tight-knit team that moves fast, appreciates candor, and deeply values the diversity of our backgrounds. Our diversity mirrors the global nature of our work: we’ve lived in 30 countries, speak 14 languages, and believe in the value of life experience that an unconventional background inherently brings. What unites us is our innate curiosity and collective ambition to build technology that ultimately has a measurable human impact.

What you get to do:

  • Source, cultivate, and close new business opportunities within public health, governance, service delivery, community engagement, and humanitarian and disaster response programming
  • Identify partnership opportunities with implementers on existing and forecasted programs
  • Build effective long-term client and partner relationships; translate client requirements into technical solutions; and negotiate and win opportunities
  • Effectively communicate the value proposition of Premise and the benefits of our products and lead the development of client proposals through product demonstrations, field marketing events, and client-specific initiatives
  • Communicate internally with the team on all field issues and product improvement opportunities
  • Deeply understand the Premise business and technology

Your background likely includes:

  • 7+ years selling partnerships with international development organizations, USG Civilian, USG Defense, international finance organizations, and/or foundations in emerging market programs
  • Experience managing and closing deals upwards of $10M
  • Ability to establish executive-level and cross-functional relationships
  • Ability to structure and negotiate with partners and clients on complex programs
  • Strong ability to use data and metrics for planning and strategic decisions
  • Experience in international development within Asia, Africa, and Latin America and the Caribbean
  • Passion for technology in development
  • Willingness to travel 20%
  • Bachelor’s degree

Bonus Points:

  • Knowledge of monitoring and evaluation (M&E) and impact evaluation
  • Existing relationships with funding organizations such as USAID, DOS, the United States Department of Defense, CDC, development banks, foundations, and the United Nations complex and/or DC-based implementing partners
  • Experience with current U.S. foreign assistance, defense, and civil society planning
