The Norwegian Refugee Council (NRC) is a non-governmental, humanitarian organization with 60 years of experience in helping to create a safer and more dignified life for displaced populations. NRC started operation in the Islamic Republic of Iran in 2012. We deliver humanitarian assistance in 4 provinces in the sectors of Education, Food Security and livelihoods, Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH), Shelter construction, as well as Information, Counseling and Legal Assistance (ICLA).

Job description

Generic responsibilities :
1. Implement NRC’s systems and procedures at Country level
2. Ensure adherence to NRC policies, handbooks, guidelines and donor requirements
3. Prepare and submit reports and analysis
4. Ensure proper filing of all support documents
5. Support line managers in procedures and require support team trainings
6. Management of HR and Administration team

Specific responsibilities:
• Coordinate staff recruitment and exits, introductions, trainings, staff benefit schemes, etc….
• Ensure development and implementation of HR & Administration systems and procedures (SOP`s, HR Agresso, Workforce planning,)
• Ensure adherence to NRC policies and the national labor law in all processes and procedures
• Coordinate with relevant authorities and partners (Social Security Organization, Medical/Health insurance company, Ministry of Labor, Legal Advisor…)
• Advise in personnel conflicts/process when relevant
• Ensure accurate and timely delivery of staff salaries

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in a HR Department
• Proven experience in Humanitarian/Recovery context
• Documented results related to the position’s responsibilities
• Knowledge about own leadership skills/profile
• Fluency in English, both written and verbal

Personal qualities

• Solid knowledge of computer software and modern HR systems
• Proven knowledge and skills related to Human Resources and Administration in Iranian context and Iranian Laws
• Proven expertise in Performance management
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

We offer

Contract until end of 2017 with extension possibility.
This is a National Position.
