NRC is in the process of upgrading several important work processes, and in the coming strategic period the organisation will develop and improve the HR workflows, and how it feeds into key decision-making, through an HRM system.
The Project Development Manager will start this process and follow it through implementation globally.
• Develop/prepare and overall project plan and secure timelines and necessary decision-making
• Facilitate and report frequently to the project Steering Committee;
• Escalate any project blockages or bottlenecks to the relevant authority;
• Socialize the project progress, keeping various stakeholders up to date, specifically the global HR community;
• Facilitate field/user testing of the solution and feedback loops to developers/supplier;
• Train early users in the use of HR System;

• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience with HR project management, involving change management and communication;
• Knowledge and experience of effective HRMIS (HR Management Information Systems.
• Experience in working with HR in larger organisations/companies, ideally including multi-site operations;
• Experience in working with sensitive information and user-interaction;
• Documented results related to the position’s responsibilities;
• Fluency in English, both written and verbal.
Context/Specific skills, knowledge and experience:
• Technical knowledge and interest for HRMIS and related technology, including experience of development and implementation of new HRMIS and the related issues;
• Experience in mapping business needs and developing tender specifications is desirable;
• Experience of working with contractors, ideally including during an implementation or upgrade process
• Excellent planner, ability to work to deadlines and adapt quickly when needed;
• Service minded;
• Problem solving skills;
• Duration: 24 months, with possibility of extension
