Purpose for the job
The EU has announced another round of funding to UNICEF’s work with Syrian refugees in Lebanon, Jordan and Turkey. This funding has a specific condition on visibility for which the EU has provided a special allocation of funds to manage activities on raising awareness around this project in Europe and the MENA region. The incumbent will manage visibility around the EU funded “MADAD” project, including implementing a communication and visibility action-plan, support reporting requirements for the donors and coordinate communication and visibility activities with UNICEF’s country offices implementing this project. The incumbent will also serve as liaison on communication and visibility with the UNICEF Brussels office and with the communication focal point in the EU MADAD project offices.
