You will be joining a team of around 3000 staff in the Lebanon Field Office working to foster the human development registered Palestine refugees.••

The Field Relief & Social Services Information Systems Administrator will be responsible for:

The main responsibilities include:

Provides technical support to ensure all RSSD staff in the assigned Field properly utilize all systems and software for day-to-day operational needs; this includes the Refugees Records Information System (RRIS), Micro-Credit Support Programme MIS and Community-based Organization Data System; Assists HERRIS in the planning for system testing, system installations, backup needs and formal on-the-job training for the use of Relief and Social Service Department systems; Implements the technical guidance, instructions and support documentations provided by the Eligibility and Refugee Registration Information Section• and ensures proper identification and resolution of system problems in coordination with ISD at the Field or Headquarters level as needed; Is technically responsible at Field level for the data integrity, accuracy, timeliness and maintenance of all RSSD Information Systems data from error detection phase to error correction phase; Monitors and follows up on data collection, consolidation and analysis related to RSSD Information Systems in order to produce reports and statistical data that will support management in planning, budgeting and forecasting; At the Field Level, assists in collecting and documenting user requirements; prepares instruction manuals, training material and any other documentation for the RSSD systems; Identifies RSSD Small Business Applications development needs in the respective Field and follows up on the development, testing and deploying in accordance with ISD policy regarding Small Business Applications; Prepares RSSD's IT related budget at Field level according to ISD standards; Performs such other duties as may be required.

Conditions of service•

Option I: Fixed Term Appointment (duration of up to three years extendable)

Monthly basic salary L.L. •2,112,358

Other benefits include:

Provident Fund contribution (15% of basic salary paid by the Agency)

Dependency allowances, Dependent spouse: L.L 60,000 per month

30 days of annual leave

Option II: Limited Duration Contract (duration of up to one year extendable):•

To qualify for this position, you will need:

Education

A university degree in computer science, information systems, or other related discipline.

Work

experience

At least three years of experience in the application of the above and in the administration of database systems and SQL servers.

Language(s)

Good command of written and spoken English.

You will also need to demonstrate the following competencies:

Very good interpersonal skills; Ability to set priorities, work under pressure and meet tight deadlines;

•         Willingness to keep abreast of new development concepts and approaches

Desirable Qualifications:

•         Knowledge of the refugee community and Agency Relief and Social Services activities;

•         Good knowledge in statistics;

•         Possession of valid driving license.
