Background
Duties and Responsibilities
- Update of policies in POPP (OFRM & Procurement sections), and standard operating procedures (SOP) for vendor creation and management.
- Development and ongoing maintenance of SOI monitoring dashboards for corporate oversight; work plan including staff training sessions aimed at increasing data integrity and accuracy.
- Business strategy for development, deployment, and management of master vendor record database.
- Management and Integration of Procurement Systems: Procurement Planning Platform (PROMPT), Risk Management Radar, Data Warehouse.
- Build, promote, and maintain business relations between PSU and OIMT during the PeopleSoft 9.2 upgrade, ensuring the needs of PSU are fully met, including the eTendering; Contract Management; Vendor Management business modules.
- Perform other duties as needed to ensure the digital efficiency gains in all aspects of PSU’s work, including continuously explore and facilitate PSU use of cutting-edge, data-mining, data management and visualization tools to enhance PSU efficiency.

Required Skills and Experience
- Minimum a first degree in relevant field of computer science, systems development, data science or related field.
- Minimum 4 years of work experience required in the field of computer science, systems development, data science or other relevant field.
- Experience with user support/training in procurement or data management systems tools for audience development required.
- Experience in project management for system development and rollout is required.
- Understanding of UNDP procurement and supply chains strongly preferred.
- Experience with data visualization tools like Power BI, Tableau, etc.
- Demonstrated ability to thrive within a complex multicultural and multinational environment strongly preferred.
- Fluency in English is required; fluency in another UN language is an asset.
- Proficiency in using query languages such as SQL etc.
- Experience from UNDP procurement operations at country office level is an advantage.
- Good scripting and programming skills.
- Data-oriented personality.
