CBM is an international Christian development organisation, committed to improving the quality of life of persons with disabilities in the poorest communities of the world. We are currently looking for a Student that can join us as a: 
 
Creative Editor (m/f/d) Working Student

Main objective of the role:

Reporting to the International Executive Office Director, the Creative Editor will be working in an exciting global communications environment, editing online content for internal communication channels within CBM worldwide and for the newly launched website (cbm.org). The main focus will be on developing and publishing CBM's global Federation Newsletter in close collaboration with the editorial team.

We are looking for someone who will…
  • Create and publish content for the internal monthly global Federation Newsletter together with the editorial team
  • Propose the editorial line for each edition
  • Coordinate the selection and development of articles and approve content accordingly
  • Ensure Newsletters are published as planned 

We are looking for someone who has…
  • Relevant academic background in communication/journalism/marketing or related field of study
  • Knowledge of the latest communication technology
  • First exposure with online communication and understanding of website content management processes
  • Great attention to detail
  • A global mindset
  • Knowledge of international development cooperation would be advantageous
  • Professional proficiency in English, with profound and excellent written communication skills in particular. French, German and/or Spanish would be advantageous
  • Knowledge of MS Office and Content Management Systems (including photo social media management tools)
