The opportunity is placed at Plan International Sweden's office in Stockholm, as part of the program department, focusing on developing our work with learning and knowledge management and is expected to contribute to impactful programs. Main areas of responsibility
- Coordinate the establishment of knowledge management processes, systems and tools and develop staff’s capabilities to use these.
- Contribute to the design and development of knowledge management tools.
- Advise on the effective and consistent use of Plan International’s global information systems and collaboration platforms.
- With colleagues co-create effective monitoring and evaluation approaches to measure knowledge management outcomes.
- Operationalize a resource library for knowledge management purposes.
- Support, guide and oversee the execution of research, studies, and evaluations.
- Establish contacts with research institutes with focus on generating learning and insights to for the benefit of program development.

- Professional level of expertise in the field of knowledge management and organizational learning.
- Experience of monitoring, evaluation and research in the field of development and humanitarian work.
- Adept at developing people, building relationships, and creating a strong sense of purpose and collaboration.
- Experience of supporting diverse teams and networks to embed, adapt and continuously improve.
- Fluency in English. Capacity to communicate in Swedish, French and/or Spanish an added advantage.
- Experience in visualization of data and information.
- A degree in human rights, international studies, development economics or any other related field.

About the position
This is a permanent position with a six-month probation period. The employment is on a full time basis which corresponds to 37.5h / w. The position is based in Stockholm and a valid work permit for Sweden is a requirement. The position includes travel to countries where Plan International Sweden has program cooperation.
