Brief description of Communications, Advocacy and Marketing (CAM):

The Global Communications, Advocacy & Marketing Division (CAM) identifies a set of top-line objectives that would support the WFP’s corporate priorities: being the leading voice on issues relating to hunger, engaging stakeholders and mobilizing influencers, and strengthening WFP’s brand and trust. This framework helps develop a pathway and aligns the objectives at HQ, Regional Bureaux and Country Office level. CAM Division plays a key role in ensuring brand positioning and coherent, content creativity and quality, and reputation protection - among others.

Over the past few years, CAM Division has expanded its internal capacity and built its network of expertise to provide professional services similar to what would be offered by an external creative agency which includes a combination of strategic planning, design, and creative production for both traditional & digital channels. CAM Division recognised an increasing need for comms related effort lies within other HQ Divisions, Regional Bureaux and Country Offices, albeit limited resources and investment. Therefore, CAM Division had initiated an in-house creative agency concept to provide the Organization with an experienced and cost-efficient model that would address the challenges faced when outsourcing the tasks to the external vendor such as unalignment of objectives, limited understanding of WFP’s vision and corporate’s guidelines, and exorbitant fees.

Reporting to the Strategic Planning Advisor, the Project Manager for Client Engagement is responsible for the design of CAM in-house creative services and project management including brokering the deals with internal clients (HQ, Regional Bureaux and Country Offices) and assist in ensuring timely and effective project development, planning and execution across CAM units.
