Translation and Communication Intern

Through partnerships and innovation, UNDP works to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) by reducing poverty, strengthening the rule of law and democratic governance, promoting environmental sustainability and South-South Cooperation. The Communications, Innovation and Partnerships Team works closely with other teams on media relations, social media advocacy, SDG campaign, communications strategy as well as partnership coordination.
Duties and Responsibilities
The intern, under the guidance and supervision of Assistant Resident Representative and Head of Communications, Innovation and Partnerships, will carry out the following duties and responsibilities:
Required Skills and Experience
- Be enrolled in a graduate school programme (second university degree or equivalent, or higher), or;
- be enrolled in the final academic year of a first university degree programme (undergraduate; minimum Bachelor’s level or equivalent); or
- have graduated with a university degree (first university degree, or second university degree or equivalent, or higher) and, if selected, must commence the internship within a one year period of graduation.
- Majoring in English (translation), international relations, communications, journalism, or other relevant fields.
