Senior Adviser (N1) Programme and Learning Manager – Human Rights, Access to Justice and Gender Equality in Uganda, Democratic Governance Facility

 

The Democratic Governance Facility (DGF) in Uganda is looking for a dynamic leader with a passion for human rights to join its management team in Kampala. The DGF is Uganda's largest democratic governance programme, working in all parts of the country in close partnership with dozens of civil society organisations and state actors. Your brief will be the protection of human rights, access to justice and gender equality. This is a position, which involves an exciting mix of political economy analysis, partnership development and programming. The ability to engage your team and take lead on constant learning, reflection and adaptation are key success factors for this role. As a member of the DGF's Senior Management Team, you will also play a role in the overall management of the facility, public representation and interaction with Development Partners through the Board and Steering Committee. You have experience with management of development programmes, preferably in Africa, and have strong communication skills.
