Background
UNDSS ensures safe UN programme delivery through comprehensive security risk management, operational support, and information analysis. The Security Operations Unit manages incident reporting, emergency coordination, and security information systems across all locations. Within this framework, the Field Security Associate supports information flow, operational responses, and the consistent implementation of security procedures.
Position Purpose:
Under the overall guidance and supervision of the Chief Security Adviser (CSA) or Deputy Chief Security Advisor (DCSA) or the Area Security Advisor (ASA), the Field Security Associate is going to ensure the implementation of security information and all matters relating to the management of safety and security for UN personnel in the country or in the region of assignment.
Duties and Responsibilities

2.) Assists the CSIOC/CSA in Maintaining Key Security Documentation at the Duty Station: |

| 3. Assists in Preparing and Delivering Security Briefings: | |

| 4.) Performs Administrative Duties as a Backup to the CSA Assistant: | |

Probation
