Malaria Officer (m/f/d), Malaria Project - National position

MI strives to enable and empower the most vulnerable communities in marginalized areas through a participatory and sustainable approach.In support of our work in Rakhine State, Myanmar, Malteser International is looking for a motivated Malaria Officer (m/f/d), Malaria Project - National position.
As Malaria Officer (m/f/d), you will be responsible to manage all day-to-day Malaria transactions of the Programs/projects to ensure effective program implementation within MI Health policies and procedures and donor requirements. Also, you will assist the Health Manager for efficient Malaria Project management and achievement of overall target and organizational objective.

Responsibilities:
- Secure that all project activities are running well on a daily basis
- Supervise and assign staffs according to daily activities. (Mobile clinic, Fixed clinic, ICMV monitoring and feedback, Active Case Detection, LLIN distribution etc.)
- Ensure data collection from ICMVs and private clinics and provide error feedback in supervision and coordination with CHF (Community Health Facilitators) and CHF supervisor in monthly basis
- Assure the record of monthly actual drugs consumption of ICMVs, mobile clinics, private clinics, Active Case Detection and fixed clinics
- Assist to the Health Manager in preparing reports and source documents: monthly, quarterly or annually
- Support the Health Manager in conducting regular trainings and meetings for ICMVs and staffs
- Ensure proper collection and timely report of all data required by the existing monitoring tools
Qualifications:
- Nursing School Graduate with license or B.Com.H degree
- At least 5 years of relevant work experience in Malaria programs, hospitals (clinic or community based)
- Proven computer skills (Microsoft office package, internet and E-mail)
- Previous working experience in a rural setting and ease in dealing with rural communities
- Understanding of challenges faced by rural communities in relation to poor health and lack of knowledge
Conditions:
- Start Date: 15th June 2020
- Duty Station: Buthidaung / Maungdaw Townships, Rakhine State and its project areas
- Duration of contract: 1 year (extendable) due to donor approval
- Salary according to qualification and experience: 14th Month Salary, Location Specific Allowance & Health Insurance
