Eligibility criteria

Minimum age: 22 years old. Applicants must be nationals of or legal residents in the country of assignment.

Description of task

Within the delegated authority and under the supervision of the Regional Advisor, Community-Based
Initiatives and Healthy Settings (CBI), or his/her designated mandated representative(s), the UNV
Communications Assistant will:
• Developing advocacy and communication materials for Healthy Cities
• Collecting and disseminating best practices and success stories in the context of healthy cities for
experience exchange
• Organizing and conducting workshops with National and Cities Authorities
• Updating the Regional Healthy Cities Network website
• Any other related tasks as may be required or assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications/Requirements Required degree level: Bachelor degree or equivalent Education - Additional Comments:

- University degree in mass Communications, media relations, or journalism or other relevant fields.

Required experience: 24 Months Experience remark:

- Experience in communications, content writing, advocacy and campaign management, social media
and research analysis.

Language skills:
  • English(Mandatory), Level - Fluent
  • Arabic(Mandatory), Level - Fluent
Area of expertise: Journalism, mass media and broadcasting, Other communications related experience, Public information and reporting Driving license: No Competencies values:
