Organizational Setting
The Animal Production and Health Division (NSA) promotes and facilitates the sustainable development of the livestock sector, integrating scientific and technical expertise and policy advice. The Division’s work is carried out by the Animal Health Service, the Livestock Information, Analysis and Policy Branch and the Animal Production and Genetics Branch. Reporting Lines
The Director, Animal Production and Health Division (NSA) works under the policy guidance and the general supervision of a Deputy Director-General. Summary of Duties and Functions The Director of the Animal Production and Health Division (NSA), oversees and facilitates the design and evolution of livestock sector development strategies; of policies, methodologies and field projects in animal production and health; and of livestock sector analysis. S/he also is responsible to manage and promote exchange of sector-relevant knowledge. The Director will:
