The Asian Development Bank’s (ADB) Private Sector Operations Department (PSOD) is seeking an experienced Investment Specialist for one of its Infrastructure Finance Divisions. PSOD provides investment capital to private sector entrepreneurs, corporates, and project sponsors, as well as financial intermediaries, such as banks, throughout Asia and the Pacific. It catalyzes, structures, and funds’ investments in privately held and state-sponsored companies across a wide range of industry sectors.

 

The role will lead and oversee origination, development, due diligence, approval and implementation of private sector infrastructure financing projects, contribute to the development of policy and strategies, monitor the development impact of the portfolio, and ensure that proper risk management is applied.

 

The ideal candidate will bring expertise in private sector finance, covering investments for infrastructure projects, analyzing credit risks, structuring transactions and syndicating financing, with experience gained ideally from both leading private sector banks and multinational development organizations.
