Childminder / Al Raqqa

KEY RESPONSIBILITES:

Direct Service Provision:

• Provide direct supervision to children in the Child-friendly space, ensure they are constantly watched and supported
• Responsible for ensuring a safe play environment for children, removing all small or sharp materials which could be swallowed or cause injury
• Responsible for checking that the Child-friendly space has been properly cleaned each day by the cleaner of the Livelihoods center
• Suggest the provision of other toys or materials for the space as and when deemed necessary
• Ensure that children identified as in need of case management or PSS activities are referred – after informed/informal consent – to the relevant case worker.
• Participate in IRC-provided technical trainings and ongoing skill development on PSS, Child Protection and Communication skills with children.

• Other relevant duties as assigned by the supervisor to support the implementation of the program
• All IRC staff are required to adhere to The IRC Way Standards for Professional Conduct and the IRC country employment policies
