ClimateWorks Australia bridges research and action, for system-level transitions to reach net zero emissions across Australia, SouthEast Asia and the Pacific. We act as trusted advisers, influencing powerful decision-makers to reduce emissions at scale. The Opportunity

ClimateWorks are seeking an experienced Program Impact Manager to join their growing team.

Program Impact Manager - Industry 

Reporting to the Systems Lead - Industry, you will be initially responsible for managing a cross-workstream team for the Australian Industry Energy Transitions Initiative, which aims to accelerate action towards achieving net zero emissions in supply chains by mid-century across critical, hard-to-abate sectors of the Australian economy. 

You will bring deep experience in scoping, design and delivery of complex impact-oriented projects, working directly with a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders in a highly collaborative manner. A background in decarbonisation of heavy industry is highly desirable.

Key responsibility

The Program Impact Manager is responsible for leading the delivery of high impact, multi-year programs resulting in system scale change and significant emissions reductions. The position is highly collaborative, and works directly with a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders across business, government and academia to deliver program impact.

This role is a full-time position; however, flexible working arrangements may be negotiated.
