The ICT team plays a crucial role in the UNDP UG CO as reliance on digital technology continues to increase in all our operations, projects, and programme deliveries. The team drives the CO's digital transformation efforts to better enable, leverage, and deploy technology solutions that help the CO implement new ways of working—smarter and more efficiently—to improve value to UNDP partners, stakeholders, and beneficiaries.
The Intern will report to the ICT Associate and work closely with programme and operations and will have dotted reporting to Team leader – IGI.
The ICT Intern will support the execution of ICT services in the CO and provide day-to-day technical assistance to users. The intern will also contribute to digital transformation initiatives, particularly automation, document digitization, and migration to modern platforms.
The purpose of this internship is to support the Country Office in advancing digital transformation initiatives, including process automation, data digitization, responsible AI exploration, digital tools adoption, and capacity building. The Intern will contribute analytical, technical, and coordination support while gaining practical exposure to digital transformation projects in a development and organizational context.
