The incumbent will support their areas and report to the Regional Coordinator.


Project management


-Assist in developing and monitoring annual work plans and budgets, as well as associated deliverables and results/outputs for all CDI projects

-Follow up project implementation schedule, track, and report accordingly to Country Management and Grants Management Units

-Raise red flags to management and team when necessary

-Build a solid data base of partnership documents for each project (agreements, reports, memo, etc.)

-Implement and maintain Country Projects dashboards

-Assist in preparation and consolidate the review and disseminate project-related reports and documents (weekly summaries, progress reports, annual reports, closing reports….)

-Participate to periodical meetings and calls with donors, stakeholders, and partners

-Manage the relationships with country public stakeholders (Ministerial departments) as well as private and bilateral partners (maintain relationship with strategic partners)

-Manage partners inquiries, including assistance with vetting & tracking inquiries, sending correspondence, sharing potential opportunities, and directing requests to appropriate internal contacts

-Consolidate lessons learned and suggestions for strategic adjustments

Resources Mobilization

Assist in the elaboration of a country resource mobilization strategy aligned with the WCA regional strategic plan and ensure alignment with strategic goals and oversight of credibility and reputational matters vis-à-vis the donor


-Assist Regional Coordinator in the implementation of the West and Central Africa regional strategic plan in term of resource mobilization and donor support

-Assist Program manager in new project development proposal including participating in strategic phone calls, providing guidance on proposal budgets and providing administrative support as necessary

-Prepare and submit partnership agreements to appropriate approval’s authorities

-Contribute to risk assessment and risk management of potential donor and expected new fund

-Effectively communicating and anticipating to various audiences meeting, including key stakeholders, donors, beneficiaries, public, internal, and external partners



Requirements

Education, knowledge, and experience:


Degree (at least Bac +4) Project Management, Business Administration, Social or Development studies, or related field

-Fluency in French and English is a must

Strong Computer literacy and experience using presentation software including PPT/Keynote, ERP

-Minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience at the national or international level as project/programme officer in a donor funded programme

-Demonstrated project management experience in supporting a Leadership Team

-Experience in the use of computers and office software packages and handling of web-based management systems
