Our country office supports the UNDP’s people strategy ‘People for 2030’ in which each and every person at UNDP has stake. Under the guidance and supervision of the direct supervisor, the HR management support  position will  be part of  execution of transparent and efficient HR services in Country Office (CO). The incumbent promotes a collaborative, client-oriented approach and supports to the maintenance of high staff morale and provision of effective service for internal and external client of HR UNDP Indonesia.
 
The HR management support will work  in close collaboration with the operations, programme and projects’ staff in the CO f for resolving  HR-elated issues and information exchange.
 
Institutional Arrangement
This position will be based in HR country office  UNDP Indonesia office in Jakarta. 
 

 

Duties and Responsibilities

 
 
1.Provides support to the implementation of HR strategies focusing on achievement of the following results:
•Full compliance of HR processes and records with UN/UNDP rules, regulations, policies and strategies.
•Provision of administrative support for International/National Personnel Service Agreement  and  further administrative of this new modality introduced in 2021 
•Provision of administrative  support for  implementation of  Partner Personnel Service Agreement (PPSA)  as part of service to UN partners in 2021 
 
 
2.Implements HR services focusing on achievement of the following results:
•Support preparation of documentation of personnel agreement  and tracking of HR transactions related to positions, recruitment, cost recoveries
•Provision of inputs to the personnel data for security related matters and other staff wellbeing arrangement for UNDP personnel 
•Preparation of routine correspondence, memoranda and reports in accordance with CO Standard Operating Procedure (SOP)
•Extracting, inputting, copying and filing data from various sources.
•Maintenance of proper filing system for HR records and documents.
 
 
5. Supports knowledge building and knowledge sharing focusing on achievement of the following results:
•Participation in the trainings for the operations/ projects staff.
•Supporting administration of learning,  documentation of training material for Country office 
•Contributions to knowledge networks and communities of practice.
•Effective contribution to sharing information regarding learning, career and talent development programme of UNDP and  any learning and knowledge sharing in gender analysis and gender mainstreaming
 
 
6.The incumbent of the position should avoid any kind of discriminatory behavior including gender discrimination and ensure that

Required Skills and Experience

Minimum Qualifications of the Successful NPSA
 
Min. Academic Education
Bachelor degree in  human resources management, social study, international relations or   other  related fields 
 
Min. years of relevant Work experience
•no experience is  required for candidate with bachelor degree  
 
Required skills and competencies: 
•Has good communication skills 
•Ability to work in a team
•Solid analytical skill 
 
Experience  work  in UN/UNDP on international organization/ NGO in relevant area  would be highly  desirable
 
Experience handling web-based management system would be preferrable.  
Required Language(s) (at working level)Fluency in written and spoken Indonesian; and ability to written and spoken English is required.
