TITLE: Small Business Development Center (SBDC) Intern
LOCATION: VIRTUAL STARTING - City Heights
START DATE: October 2021
DURATION: 4 months starting; 10-20 hours per week

BACKGROUND: The International Rescue Committee (IRC) responds to the world’s worst humanitarian crises, helping to restore health, safety, education, economic wellbeing and power to people devastated by conflict and disaster. Founded in 1933 at the call of Albert Einstein, the IRC is at work in over 40 countries and 26U.S. cities helping people to survive, reclaim control of their future and strengthen their communities.
SCOPE OF SMALL BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT CENTERWORK: The IRC in San Diego has provided training, technical assistance, and loans to refugee, immigrants, and underserved entrepreneurs for nearly 15 years. The SBDC Intern will provide both administrative and direct service support to the program.
