1. Role and responsibilities:
The Office keeper is responsible for cleaning offices, meeting rooms, washrooms/WC, kitchen and other common areas in the Education Center.
Generic responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with NRC procedures and policies
- Keep the NRC offices clean and organized
- Welcome and greet visitors and guide them through the office
- Report any relevant gaps, damages and breakages in office to line manager
- Ensure proper follow up and effective and economic use of kitchen supplies
- Report needed Kitchen and office supplies/office Maintenance needs as per need
- Ensure respecting NRC’s Protection mainstreaming guidelines and report any breaches/concerns to the line manager and/or focal point for proper action.
Specific responsibilities
- Clean the offices, meeting rooms, washrooms/WC, kitchen and balconies
- Ensure that washrooms are properly stocked with wash requirements
- Dust and polish furniture, windows, doors and equipment
- Empty waste paper baskets, dustbins and shredding machines
- Prepare and serve tea and coffee to NRC staff and visitors
- Keep the storage rooms (stationeries, supplies, …) clean and organized
- Ensure adherence to Covid-19 precautionary measures and perform proper sterilization of the centre
