Our team and mission
The Print Media and Merchandising Production Office, part of the Production and Management Support Division of the ESA Communication Department, is responsible to define, develop and maintain a catalogue of print and non-digital media to be produced by ESA to reach the general public.
The Office is responsible for developing and managing, in close coordination with the Partnerships Unit, the relevant agreements and contracts with selected suppliers in order to consolidate the development of ESA promotional merchandise, ranging from online distribution to a franchising approach.

Field(s) of activity/research for the traineeship
Reporting directly to the Head of the Print and Merchandising Production Office of the ESA Communication Department, you will support the Graphic activities of the office.
You will in particular focus your efforts in supporting the development of full new range of ESA merchandising via the on-line ESA Shop.
As such, you will develop adequate graphics, implement them on products, and ensure adequate promotion of these new items.
Within this context, you will have to liaise adequately with the concerned services to ensure correct ESA branding compliance and adequate on-line communication supporting such new products development

Education
You must be enrolled at university for the entire duration of the internship. You should preferably be in your final or second to last year of a University course at master's level in a technical or scientific discipline.
Additional requirements
The working languages of the Agency are English and French. A good knowledge of one of these is required. Knowledge of another Member State language would be an asset.
Knowledge and background in International Relations and project management is an asset.
The post is foreseen for a minimum of 3 months period starting in February/March 2022.
