Background

The External Relations Department (ExRel) is responsible for engaging with private individuals and organisations to build awareness about NRC and raise funds for the organisations work for people forced to flee. To achieve this, ExRel operate across four main areas; Public Engagement ensuring that the voice of NRC and the people we serve is being heard; Global Fundraising raising unearmarked funds from private individuals for NRCs mission; Donor Management securing our income from regular donors; Corporate Relations collaborating with the private corporate sector to attract and maintain grants and pro bono resources for the organisation; and Governance ensuring that department activities are aligned in a way that supports the department overall goals and are operated in a way that meets the laws and regulations within each country of operation.

Donor Management section (DM)

The Donor Management section is accountable for the maintenance and development of NRCs regular donor portfolio. This includes analytics, donor service and work related to managing and developing the regular donor portfolio.

Responsibilities

  • Line management and budget responsibilities for relevant teams/budget lines
  • Develop, follow up and report on strategy and action plans in line with the ToR for teams and ExRels strategies
  • Responsible for the global business development of NRCs regular donor portfolio.
  • Responsible for the donor lifecycle management strategy
  • Manage, coordinate and allocate resources for relevant teams
  • Ensure compliance with NRC and ExRels policies, procedures and branding, and represent ExRel accordingly.

What you will bring

  • 3+ years’ experience with marketing, Donor Lifecycle Management (Customer Lifecycle Management) and personalized communication within the private sector
  • Experience with building next best action solutions
  • Experience with using market automation solutions
  • Understanding and experience with experimental design, A/B testing, data and analytics
  • Competence on database marketing and affinity with relevant tools and systems (e.g., SAS, Salesforce, Dynamics 365, Hubspot)
  • Experience with using tools as Tableau, Power BI, etc.
  • Experience with forecasting and business case development
  • Excellent presentation skills
  • Management experience is an advantage
  • Experience in driving performance management
  • Relevant higher education
  • Knowledge about own leadership skills/profile
  • Strong knowledge of standard ICT systems and tools
  • Strong written and oral communication skills in both Norwegian and English, other languages are an advantage
  • Strong ability to motivate and follow up colleagues
  • Strong ability to collaborate and communicate
