Support Mechanism LTD is currently looking to expand its employment pool. We are looking for multiple data analysts to work with us, as consultants, to help support our customers' operations.

About us

Support Mechanism LTD provides training, advisory and direct implementation services. Specialized in disaster, conflict, and remote areas. Our professionals have been working with Fleet and Supply Chain services for over 10 years in 5 different sectors (private, expeditions, government, humanitarian, and NGO), covering 6 different continents (Africa, Asia, Antarctica, Europe and North and South America) and dealing with an array of context specific challenges.

Roles and responsibilities

As a data analyst your roles may include:

  • Identify areas to increase efficiency and automation of processes.
  • Set up and maintain automated data processes.
  • Implement external services and tools to support data validation and cleansing.
  • Produce, track, and periodically report key performance indicators.
  • Support reporting processes.
  • Monitor and audit data quality.
  • Liaise with internal and external clients to fully understand data content.
  • Manipulate, analyse, and interpret complex data sets.
  • Prepare reports for internal and external audiences using business analytics reporting tools.
  • Create data dashboards, graphs, and vizualitions.
  • Mine and analyse large datasets, draw valid inferences, and present them successfully to management using a reporting tool.
  • Fleet Management system support.

  Candidate profile

  • Diploma in Computer Science, Economics, Information Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or equivalent experience.
  • 1+ years of data and business analysis experience (junior), 5+ (senior).
  • Experience with Microsoft Excel.
  • Ability to prioritize effectively.
  • Strong attention to detail and organization skills.
  • Excellent oral and written communication.

Language

  • Mandatory: English.
  • Advantage: French, Spanish, and Arabic.
