The Role
The Operations Manager is responsible for successfully supporting LMH’s programs in a county, including efficient management of the bulk of LMH resources, personnel, and spending in the county. The Operations Manager will report directly to the County Manager with oversight from the Monrovia Operations team. The role has a special focus on team management, facility operations, procurement, and enforcement of operational and other organizational policies.
This position is open to Liberian National candidates.

What You’ll Do
- Coordinate the activities of the operations team to support county projects
- Ensure that all activities are implemented successfully and on time.
- Proactively address and troubleshoot any challenges.
- Lead daily huddles, bi-weekly meetings, and one-on-one check-ins.
- Supervise facility staff to ensure that facilities are clean and well-maintained
- Ensure that guests and staff have comfortable, functioning workspaces and accommodations.
- Monitor and oversee fuel and gasoline distribution, sending timely replenishment requests to the national team
- Ensure all assets are properly designated, regularly inventoried, and appropriately maintained
- Ensure compliance with all operational, financial, and administrative policies
- Ensure strict safety protocols are being followed out for all LMH activities
- Liaise with the County Health Team on resource coordination
- Perform duties of the county manager in his or her absence
- Responsible for all procurement and contracting activities in the county, including but not limited to:
- Work closely with the Procurement Manager to obtain needed materials with particular attention to cost control, quality, and timely delivery.
- Soliciting quotes from vendors, preparing analysis for tender committees, and overseeing work by and payment to contractors
- Arranging caterers, accommodations, and transport for training and other events.
What You’ll Bring
- Bachelor’s degree or 6 years relevant work experience
- Minimum 2 years professional experience in a similar role supervising a dynamic team in a developing world context.

For Liberia, the national staff salary range is $20,862 to $30,135 depending upon experience doing an equivalent role.
