CHAI/WJCF has been working in India since 2004 in close partnership with and under the guidance of the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare (MoHFW) at the Central and States’ levels on an array of high priority initiatives aimed at improving health outcomes. WJCF has been working closely with the government of Madhya Pradesh in scaling Comprehensive Abortion Care (CAC) service access, driving update of MET methods of contraception, addressing supply chain infirmities in family planning methods, skilling health workers in counselling and service delivery, and identifying new approaches to improve awareness around family planning services in vulnerable communities across the state.
