Organizational Context: 

The incumbent will be based in Beirut and may need to travel to other Offices in different parts of the country.

Key Responsibilities (not all-inclusive, nor exhaustive):

The incumbent will report to the IT operation officer and will be responsible for successful delivery of IT operational objectives as determined by the IT operation officer. Within delegated authority, the staff member will be responsible for the following duties: 

•    Act as helpdesk focal point by Managing  and responding to end user request through the service management tool.
•    Handle all office equipment support and maintenance task including end-user equipment, printing solutions and meeting room setup.
•    Assist in monitoring and maintaining networking equipment and infrastructure by managing Corporate Wi-Fi and local network.
•    Assist in monitoring, maintaining and deploying all WFP standard infrastructure systems for on premises and cloud based solutions.
•    Handling all IT goods services provisioning by initiating purchase orders.
•    Receive and inspect all incoming assets and report discrepancies in IT materials inventory to senior colleagues to ensure materials are effectively tracked.
•    Assist in troubleshooting and to test and support all enterprise systems responsible for daily operations of IT services and proper data and voice connectivity of all users in and between Country Office and the Sub-Offices.
•    Ensure end user devices are fully complaint with WFP global standard by applying all recommend updates and patches.
•    Assisting local process expert in handling all asset registration and regular physical checks to ensure inventory records are always up-to-date.
•    Provide basic support to Digital assistance service by ensuring full operability of business operations.
•    Provide hands-on training, and advise for all IT and related matters are field level.
•    Work closely ensuring IT policies, procedures, systems and tools are correctly applied to support them. 
•    Assist in all terrestrial & satellite communication technology management and support.
•    Perform other related duties as required.

Standard Minimum Qualifications:    

Education: Completion of Secondary School Education and University degree in Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Computer Science,or other related field is an advantage.
ITIL certification, PMP or equivalent are also an advantage.
Experience: At least four (4) years of progressive experience in the Information Technology field with one (2) year of experience directly linked to helpdesk support & a minimum of One (1) year of work within a humanitarian organization is a plus.
Language: Fluency in both oral and written communication in English and Arabic. Knowledge of French language is an added advantage.
Desired Experiences and Competencies: 

•    Advanced experience in using Office 365 products and active directory services.
•    Good experience in managing cloud based solutions & IT infrastructure components.
•    Good Understanding of humanitarian activities in country.
•    Has good experience in managing service management tools.
•    Ability to work and coordinate with different teams.
•    Ability to report and document work related activities.
