Background

Under the overall guidance of Deputy Director of DMA and under the direct supervision of the Chief of Procurement Section, the Consultant will be responsible for the vendor profile validation and pre-clearance procedures during the implementation of the Oracle Cloud ERP-based corporate Quantum Management System (QMS). The ERP Data Migration Consultant’s function is to ensure timely and accurate verification and mapping of information and documentation related, but not limited to, supplier and non-supplier profile database during the migration from a legacy Atlas ERP system to the new Oracle Cloud ERP system. The Consultant is expected to provide solutions to a wide spectrum of complex issues related to data migration, promote a collaborative, client-focused, quality and results-oriented approach in the section, work in close collaboration with internal and external stakeholders both at Headquarters and field levels for the successful data migration and implementation of Oracle ERP system.
Duties and Responsibilities
Responsibilities:
- Actively participate in data conversion to support the migration of data on, but not limited to, individuals, institutions and contracts, in the Oracle Cloud ERP across all UN Women offices and regions;
- Perform due identification and verification of data between the new Quantum MS ERP and the legacy ERP database of vendors, including through validation of company details, such as address and banking information, documents confirming entity’s status business relationship with UN Women (certificates of incorporation, banking and contractual documentation), contracts etc.
- Carry out the mapping of Atlas and Oracle ERP vendor database and conduct the necessary configurations of supplier profiles and data objects to ensure business continuity during roll-out;
- Keep track of deviations and route vendor review tickets to relevant supplier administrators and managers for approval, as and when required, based on established SOPs;
- Identifying gaps and opportunities and oversee resolution of system defects, errors, and other issues, elevate to the when required;
- Provide technical and functional advice to all involved stakeholders to improve and optimize the data migration process;
- Support the overall data management and migration efforts, including assessment of existing legacy data, relationship between various elements and attributes, and gather the necessary data from multiple sources and system;
- Provide support for creation of technical documentation, including guidance documents and capacity-building offerings for suppliers;
- Support the user acceptance testing and quality assurance efforts during the implementation of the new Oracle ERP system;
- Coordinate the data migration with multiple stakeholders and business functions within and outside of the organization, participate in cross-stream collaborative efforts;
- Escalate technical or procedural issues to relevant subject matter experts and business process owners to ensure timely resolution;
- Ensure compliance with UN Women procurement policies, procedures and any relevant regulations/rules;
- Support the training and capacity-building efforts for individuals and institutions registering and using QMS, as and when required;
- Performing any other duty aimed at supporting vendor and contract management with organization of procurement processes entrusted to the Procurement Section at UN Women Headquarters.
Deliverables:
- Complete mapping, verification and conversion of the supplier and contract database during the ERP migration as per the implementation schedule.
Mode of Contract Execution:
The services will be delivered remotely, and the consultant may be expected to be on site and within UN Women’s Headquarter offices, Department of Management and Administration (DMA) Procurement Section, when health and safety regulation guidelines allow for on-campus work. operations.

Required Skills and Experience
Required Qualifications, Experience and skills:
- Master’s Degree or equivalent in Business Administration, Public Administration, Operations, Supply Chain Management, Information Technology, Engineering or related field;
- A minimum of 3 years of progressively responsible experience in procurement and supply chain management with a focus on implementation of ERP Systems, e-procurement solutions, and business process analysis or related area is required;
- Proficiency in the usage of computers and office software packages (MS Word, Excel, etc.);
- Experience in Oracle Cloud or other ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) system implementation at global or regional level is an asset.
- Knowledge of data acquiring, manipulation, cleansing and maintenance is an asset;
Language:
- Fluency in oral and written English is required.
- Knowledge of another official United Nations language is desirable.
