Location: New York City, remote

 

Position Overview:

Parley for the Oceans is seeking an Operations & Systems Manager to join the crew full-time as part of our New York global headquarters.

 

The right candidate has a deep appreciation for the oceans and conservation. This candidate also has extensive experience working with Google Workspace apps, specifically skills in database management with Google Sheets. This person is an ambitious, future-focused leader that will engage Parley’s global network of programs and partnerships with efficient and effective management. This team member will join the Parley crew where all members are expected to wear many hats and work together to end the destruction of the oceans.

 

Roles and Responsibilities:

- Manage the activation, strategic development, and impact tracking of the Parley Global Cleanup Network country teams, events, and collaborations

- Support and scale Parley global Education programs focused on the Parley AIR Strategy

- Assist the Parley Ocean Plastic® material supply chain logistics and product development

- Coordinate Google Sheet data systems, KPI and partner impact reports, photo/video storytelling

- Support grant projects by overseeing timelines, objectives, and budgets with collaborators

- Develop Standard Operating Procedures to detail internal processes, programs, and projects

- Contribute to the growth of Parley’s collaboration impact network and business development

- Communicate effectively and responsibly represent Parley’s mission and AIR Strategy

 

Candidate Qualifications:

- Master's Degree preferred, with 3 to 5+ years of relevant professional experience

- Expert in data management and analyses with Google Sheets

- Highly organized with precise attention to detail and an eye for design

- Enthusiasm for numbers and teamwork, with ambitious environmental leadership
