About HomeNet International
HOMENET INTERNATIONAL (HNI) is a global network of membership-based workers’ organizations representing thousands of home-based workers (HBWs) around the world. In February 2021, 36 HBW organizations from 20 countries became the first affiliate members to join the organization, representing more than 600 000 HBWs. The network aims to achieve the following: raise visibility and gain recognition of home-based workers (HBWs) as workers, build and provide solidarity amongst HBWs around common issues and use the power of a global voice to influence governments and employers globally.
HomeNet International is looking for a Program Coordinator for its program on Social Protection.
Key Role and Responsibilities
- Co-design and co-develop a programme on Social Protection for HBWs with the HNI team and HNI members, based on the experience of the project supported by OSF.
- Coordinate and implement the programme on Social Protection with all project partners in South Asia, SouthEast Asia, Latin America and Africa.
- Provide specific inputs and support to project partners on developing a programme in each region.
- Coordinate project M&E and donor reporting with all partners.
- Compilation of reports received from the Project Partners and reporting to the Funder.
The role reports to the International Coordinator of HNI, while the Program Officer will coordinate with the entire team whenever required. This is a consultancy role so the individual will work from home, providing their own Internet access and equipment.
