STANDARD MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Currently enrolled and have attended University courses in the last 12 months inclusive of having completed at least two years of undergraduate studies or have recently graduated in the last 6 months’ in Development Studies, Social Studies, Project Management or other relevant field;
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Power Point);
- Fluent in English
ORGANIZATIONAL CONTEXT
The World Food Programme is the world's largest humanitarian agency, fighting hunger worldwide. We are currently seeking to fill two internship positions under the WFP Programme Unit of the Mozambique Country Office. The positions will be based one in Beira, another in Chimoio, Mozambique. The Internship will be for an initial period of 6 months months starting from October 2022.
JOB PURPOSE
The selected candidate will be assisting the WFP Field Office with the following key duties:
- Support in the implementation and monitoring of WFP activities in the province.
- Support in organizing and participation in community engagement and consultation processes.
- Support in gathering literature and facts for fundraising on activities of other partners on agriculture, livelihoods and resilience activities.
- Support in communication and visibility activities.
- Carry out other duties assigned to him by the Head Of Field Office as required.
- Perform other duties as required.

- Deliver timely reports and products as requested respecting the deadlines.
- Provide feedback and relevant insights, in respect with community and consultation processes.
- Demonstrate interest and express willingness to learn new tasks.
- Integration within Field Office team and partners.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS
- Interns receive a monthly stipend from WFP of US$ 575 per month.
- WFP is not responsible for living expenses, arrangements for accommodation, necessary visas and related costs.
- WFP will recognize candidates’ educational credentials from recognised institutions that have been certified by competent international or national authorities such as the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) or Ministries of Education;
