Mission and objectives

The Resident Coordination Office (RCO) has been an autonomous entity since January 1, 2019 as part of the ongoing reform of the United Nations. It supports the Resident Coordinator and the United Nations Country Team to deliver a coordinated and harmonized response to the development challenges in Gabon. It works closely with all agencies, funds and programs, resident and non-resident, members of the United Nations Country Team in the Republic of Gabon. It maintains regular exchanges with the headquarters (DCO) and the regional office (UNDSG) on which he depends and intervenes, alongside the Resident Coordinator (RC) and representatives and staff of the Agencies, in collaboration with government and institutional authorities, as well as with civil society.

Context

Le Bureau du Coordonnateur Résident du Système des Nations unies au Gabon recherche un ou plusieurs volontaires en ligne pour nous aider à relire et faire la correction du Rapport Annuel 2021 des Nations unies au Gabon en anglais. Le document sera utilisé par l'organisation pour promouvoir l’appui des Nations unies au gouvernement gabonais et nous aidera à atteindre l’objectif de communiquer davantage sur les résultats et les programmes conjoints par le biais du cadre de coopération. Le texte à traduire est long de 40 pages.
