We are looking for national Finance Coordinator (Cash and Markets) to join our team in Kyiv, the candidate should have
- At least 3 years’ relevant experience handling grants and finance, in increasingly responsible roles
- Experience from working as a Finance Coordinator/Officer in a humanitarian/recovery context
- Fluency in English, Russian and Ukrainian, both written and verbal
What you will do
- Prepare and submit reports and analysis
- Ensure proper filing of all support documents
- Support line managers in procedures and require support team trainings
- Management of support team
- Ensure that the accounting, monitoring and reporting are according to procedures
- Support project staff in financial matters
- Maintain budget control and monitor cash flow for the area and country offices upon request
- Prepare and submit reports and analysis.
- Liaise with HR in Kyiv and Finance in the field offices to prepare staff salary allocation
- Generate monthly Budget Versus Actual report (BvA) per project and per area offices.
- Facilitate monthly Budget versus Actual (BvA) reports with budget holder and follow up on action points.
- Verification of financial transactions per projects.
- Liaise with HR in the Area offices and area managers in the field offices to prepare monthly staff salary and other operation cost allocation.
- Provide information to Finance Manager and area manager during proposal budget preparation to ensure staff positions and other support cost are fully funded
- Check and verify NRC Kyiv payrolls before payments are made
- Be proactive in communication with budget holder and ensure that new changes in the financial reporting tools are taken on board.
- Assist Finance team on preparation of financial donor’s reports.
- Assist finance team to maintain Master budget updated upon Finance Manager’s request
- Promote exchange of information and cooperation with relevant department in main office as well as with Project managers and coordinators
- Assist the Cash and Market Specialist in cash reporting and reconciliation activities.
- Ensure the Cash and Markets activities are archived and secured.

What we offer
