Job Description
•    Develop skills and knowledge on the law applicable to an organization like GAVI and the responsibilities of an in-house lawyer in an international setting.
•    The intern will produce legal memoranda and research papers, legal correspondence and agreements.
Main Duties/Responsibilities
•    Assist with the daily business of the Legal department;
•    Working directly with the different members of the Legal team, under the direct supervision of the Director of Legal; 
•    The primary role of the intern will be to assist with the timely review and preparation of contractual documentation of a varying nature (programmatic, goods and services, partner agreements, etc.);
•    Other tasks and research projects will be assigned on an ad hoc basis.

Work Experience Skills/Competencies
The intern must have:
•    An interest in international law and public health; prior experience working in an international and multicultural environment would be an advantage;
•    Interest in transactional work;
•    Excellent written skills; and 
•    Ability to work well in a team, particularly in a multi-cultural environment.
Languages
•     Excellent knowledge of English;
•     Working knowledge of French would be an advantage.
Academic Qualifications
•     The intern must be enrolled in a university degree programme in law.
