Request for Expression Of Interest for a Workday HRIS Consultant

General functions:

Under the supervision of the manager of the WTO HRIS Team, the Workday HRIS Consultant will perform the following duties:

  • Partner with the WTO HRIS Team to participate in the implementation and maintenance of Workday, including complex configurations (e.g. business process configurations), data management, security, reporting, dashboards, integrations and documentation.
  • Proactively work with the WTO HRIS Team, HR Business Owners and other stakeholders to continuously help streamline and automate HR Processes with the goal to increase the quality of information provided,    Then analyse, build requirements, configure Workday (and satellite systems if need be) and perform unit tests.
  • Support HR users for User Acceptance Testing for Workday new releases and new functionalities.
  • Act as a subject matter expert in Workday Core HCM/Payroll/Recruitment and if possible in Workday Talent/Learning. 
  • Facilitate global training with the goal to empower the users and the HRIS Team.
  • Provide day to day support in Workday setup and troubleshooting issues.
  • Maintain strictest confidentiality and ensure optimal security in Workday.

  • In 2023, we will add Advanced Compensation, Talent and Performance, Learning and Development
  • Workday integrates with several internal and external Systems, in and out, the main integration being with the Oracle E-Business suite financial suite.
  • Around 900 users, 50 business users.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • 3+ years of hands-on experience as supporting Workday Core HCM (Workforce, Benefits, Compensation, Absence), Recruiting, Payroll, Reporting, Security.
  • 3+ years of experience implementing and configuring Workday: Business Process configuration, Reporting, Integrations.  Workday Studio is an asset.
  • 2+ years of experience in Human Resources with strong knowledge of the functional areas of Human Resources i.e. Employee Lifecycle from Recruitment to Retire.
  • Experience on Workday Advanced Compensations, Talent and Performance, Learning and Development is an asset.
  • 2+ years of experience in project management practices.
  • Strong written, verbal, analytical, problem solving and interpersonal skills.
  • Very good knowledge of Microsoft Office tools, proficient in Microsoft Excel.
  • Fluent in English or French written and spoken.
