Senior Program Executive, New Delhi

GMR Varalakshmi Foundation (GMRVF) is the corporate social responsibility arm of the GMR Group. It takes up activities with communities around the projects taken up by the Group. The thrust areas of its activities include: Education, Health, Hygiene and Sanitation, Empowerment and Livelihood.

GMRVF is looking for a suitable candidate for the position of Senior Program Executive based in New Delhi.

Essential competencies and Responsibilities:
• S/he should be able to build, monitor and manage the programs in the field
• Plan and carry out new initiatives and community level interventions in Education, Health and Empowerment & Livelihoods thrust areas
• Lead an initiative and taking independent charge within the organizational policy framework
• Mentor a strong team of community volunteers at community level
• Develop an effective communication network, build strong relationships and liaison with community stakeholders and NGO partners
• Develop and implement employee involvement activities
• Documentation and Reporting of all community programs, prepare MIS, other reports including half-yearly and annual reports
• Essentially pro-active and result-oriented

Qualifications & Experience:
• Master’s in Social Work or any other relevant discipline, with about 3 to 5 years of experience in a reputed NGO or similar organizations.
• Ability to work in a team and excellent communication (written and verbal) in English and Hindi are mandatory.
• Readiness to travel and undertake field programs is important.
