We (India Nirman Sangh) are a small, 17 year old NGO (Section 8 company) working among the poor, particularly women, in the area around Kodaikanal and Palani in Tamilnadu. We have 16 field and project staff. We are looking for a person who is passionate about improving the quality of life of the poor. In this small NGO, the selected candidate will be required to play a number of roles including those of a coordinator, manager, planner and motivator. The person should be interested in a long term commitment to this job and a willingness to grow and eventually, perhaps, lead the NGO. The salary we can pay may not be the best but the job satisfaction and growth we offer can easily be the best on offer. This is a job which requires you to live in Kodaikanal. Dedication and good communication skills in English are essential. Some knowledge of Tamil is desirable.
