Job Brief
We are looking for a Finance Manager to join LBF and manage all financial aspects, including
investments and audit activities.
The responsibilities include overseeing cash flow planning, preparing and reviewing budgets
and tracking operational metrics (KPIs.) To be successful in this role, you should have indepth knowledge of risk management methods and the ability to create forecasting models.
Ultimately, you will ensure we manage our resources in the most beneficial way and help
maximize our funding.


Duties/Assignments:
The Finance Officer will:
? Oversee the financial operations of the organization and ensure timely and accurate
financial reports and practices including cash management, payroll, financial
disbursements, ledgers etc.
? Responsible for entering financial information and maintaining all financial records
for projects and for the organization.
? Manage financial control, prepare and analyse budgets, develop financial reports,
and make recommendations to the organization on budget expenditures.
? Obtain approvals from the Head on all procurements and purchases for the projects
and for the organization.
? Monitor the expenditures to ensure that program funds are utilized appropriately by
the close of the fiscal year.
? Provide orientation and training to the organization staff on cost-effective
management.
? Ensure that all financial reporting is completed on time.
? Oversee the financial audits of all projects of the organization. Coordinate and lead
the annual audit process, liaise with external auditors and the finance committee of
the board of directors; assess any changes necessary.
? Provide financial inputs for proposal development, project management, Human
Resource Management policies, logistics, travel and other areas of administration.
? Implement a robust contracts management and financial management/ reporting
system; ensure that the contract billing and collection schedule is adhered to and
that financial data and cash flow are steady and support operational requirements.
? Update and implement all necessary business policies and accounting practices;
improve the finance department’s overall policy and procedure manual.
? Support maintaining compliance with internal financial and accounting policies,
administrative procedures and local statutory requirements.
? Support in ensuring all statutory requirements of the organization are met and tax
remittance is done in a timely manner including filing returns to all statutory bodies
and following them to completion.
? Work collaboratively across the all departments, field offices and Headquarters

Qualifications
• Qualification of CA.
• Minimum 10 years’ experience proven work experience as senior finance officer
preferably in a non-profit organization.
• Excellent knowledge of data analysis, risk management and forecasting methods
• Hands-on experience with accounting and financial management software (e.g. SAP)
• Expertise in MS Excel
• Analytical skills
• Ability to explain financial terms in simple language
• Familiarity with the way non-profit/CSR organizations are structured
• Genuine interest in our mission
• Knowledgeable in compliances such as TDS, GST etc.
