Dexis has an opening for an experienced Pricing Manager. This position will create fully compliant cost proposals and cost volumes, as well as budget versus actual support. This full-time position reports to the director at Dexis. The position is remote due to COVID-19, but is subject to change based on company discretion.

About the Position


Dexis has an opening for an experienced Pricing Manager. This position will create fully compliant cost proposals and cost volumes, as well as budget versus actual support. This full-time position reports to the Director at Dexis. The position is remote due to COVID-19, but this is subject to change based on company discretion.

Responsibilities


Independently prepare fully compliant price/cost volumes, including budgets, budget narratives, and relevant annexes, as well as review subcontract budgets and cost proposal materials for compliance prior to submission to the client and/or prime contractor.
Advise teams on full cost recovery and profit analysis.
Coordinate with the Proposal team, Director of Pricing and Reporting, and Senior Management on pricing strategy and key cost decisions. Offer pricing strategies to make cost proposals more competitive and cost-efficient; must independently provide innovative pricing strategy solutions.
Review Solicitations and generate questions regarding any aspect of the solicitation where Dexis needs any additional information.
Establish and maintain workflow to facilitate timely budget preparation and review.
Collaborate on cost proposal modifications in competitive range discussions.
Oversee and/or gather sourcing and verification of pricing information and unit costs. Maintain well-documented records supporting pricing used in the development of proposals.
Ensure compliance with terms and conditions of the solicitation cost proposal requirements.
Negotiate proposal pricing with vendors and subcontractors. Document relevant communications and negotiations.
Prepare Consent to Subcontract packages to get necessary approvals from clients.
Support GSA audits, as applicable.
Attend management, proposal meetings, and contribute to the overall proposal
Educate, train company staff on pricing-related issues. Assist in the development of trainings on budgeting, pricing strategies and budget templates.
Assist in management of Pricing resources, including templates, tools, SharePoint sites, and other resources
You may have supervisory responsibilities.
As applicable/needed, assist the program implementation teams in reviewing, revising, and realigning budgets.
As applicable/needed, prepare revised budgets for contract change proposals.
Other duties as assigned.


Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in business administration, management, accounting, finance, or related field required.
Minimum of three to five years of experience in pricing with five years’ experience working with USAID and/or in US government contracting; Contracts and/or Project Management experience highly desired.
Expertise in client/funder regulations as it relates to budget development, unallowed costs for USG agencies, knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), AIDAR, the Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations Supplement (DFARS), among others.
Persuasive communication skills, both verbal and written, and the ability to effectively interact with senior management and individuals with varying degrees of financial knowledge. Oral and written fluency in English required.
Must be able to meet with technical staff to solicit their requirements to develop related acquisition documents.
Knowledge of cost and pricing, contract terms, and conditions.
Must be able to work independently as well as part of a team. Ability to multi-task and work under pressure to meet deadlines.
Diligence and high degree of initiative and flexibility to successfully accommodate deadlines.
Fluency in computer application, including in-depth knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word.
Experience developing cost applications for grants and cooperative agreements is also desired, but not required.
Experience working on and/or pricing for GSA is desired but not required.
Experience working in the international development sector.
