Role Overview
The Philanthropy and Partnerships Intern is responsible for supporting the Philanthropy team in the Germanspeaking part of Switzerland in: keeping administrative records and data up to date, the identification and qualification of prospective partners (foundations and municipalities, individual major donors and corporates), the development of compelling and customised applications for funding and create promotional and donor material and support events organisation, fundraising and awareness activities.
Project Overview
The Philanthropy team works with a portfolio of foundations and municipalities, individual major donors and
corporates that will contribute significantly to our annual fundraising targets.

Key Activity Areas
CRM (Salesforce)
- Updating touch points with donors/prospects in our CRM
- Completing donors’/prospects’ profiles in our CRM, in terms of giving potential, interest and communication preferences
- Creating tracking and priority reports in our CRM
Prospect identification and qualification
- Research on existing prospects and qualification of individual major donors
- Desk research on new potential partners
- Identification of potential partners’ area of interest
- Media monitoring of potential partners
- Support with mailings
Donor/prospect material development
- Support the development of personalised communication material (incl. PowerPoint presentations, applications for funding, brochures, etc.)
- Drafting of letters to partners/prospects
Events
- Support project leaders with the organisation of events and diverse fundraising and awareness activities such as presence at conference stands
Team Spiritual Life

Qualifications
- Business management, Account Management or similar bachelor degree
- Excellent working written and spoken knowledge of German (mother tongue) & English languages
Relief & Recovery Orientation Course (ROC)
